do you think landlords would be willing to reduce a rent price due to the credit crunch?
i have found a really nice place for £570 per month furnished, one bedroom flat. i was going to ask the letting agents if the landlord would reduce the rent slightly by £20 or so. do you think its worth asking?
It’s always worth asking – especially in your case where you’re not trying to completely low-ball the landlord. If they say no, then they say no. As long as you don’t offend the owner by demanding something ridiculous, they are usually willing to work with a perspective tenant.
