Kari & Doretha at Willoughby Elementary Career Day!

Doretha and I had a great time visiting with everyone at Willoughby Elementary for Career Day! Our future Realtors - in grades 1 through 4 - shopped online for a house; learned about down payments, earnest money deposits, and closing costs; made an offer on a million dollar home; applied for a loan; and signed a deed of trust.

Each student received $280,000 of "Kari Kash" and "Doretha Dollars" to shop with which, all in all, was their favorite part of the "transaction". Everyone had a wonderful time and our Mini-Realtors really impressed us with their real estate skills!
